Everything is ready to go ladies and gentlemen the Season is upon us and the annual Start of Season party is tonight. I have to tell you all week long, the weather men have been talking about rain and that made this knight a little worried. Then this morning all this talk of rain seems to be gone, Mother Nature is definitely showing her Blue Knights some love. Speaking of love we want to send some out to a couple of guys in the family that have both been hurt in motorcycle accidents this season, Charter Member Bill Van Kluyve and and CC Riders' Joey Henderson. We wish both of them a speedy recovery. See you tonight!

Can you hear that? The bikes are out ladies and gentlemen, spring has sprung! Tonight the Knights will be gathering with friends and family for the annual Rockin' Chili Party. The weather is absolutely fabulous, showing us that Mother Nature still has a soft spot for her Blue Knights. So toss that winter jacket in the back of the closet, slip on those riding boots, saddle up and get down to the clubhouse tonight because the chili is on the stove, the Earthgrinders are tuning up and we're going to answer one question tonight......"Can you still hang?"nuary 10, 2010 \\

Thanks to all the folks that came out to support our Great Falls Beefsteak last Saturday. It seemed that everyone gave it their best but in the end they couldn't finish all the beefsteak the great folks from Geresi's brought. Guess you guys better bring reinforcements next time. As for the venue, all I keep hearing is how everyone loved it. Not surprising considering the place is beautiful and the people there at the Hasbrouck Heights VFW Post 4591 are top notch. So what's up next? The Rockin' Chili Party of course! Jack Frost is starting his yearly retreat and soon the riding/party season will be in full swing. Can you still hang? Saturday March 20, 2010 is the day, the Blue Knights Clubhouse is the place to find out and you better bring an appetite. Or if you're feeling a little bold, why not enter the Chili contest? Festivities start at 7:00PM. We'll be there, will you?
Well the new year and decade have arrived, did you guys ring out the new year in style? This year your Blue Knights are getting things started early, on February 27, 2010, the Knights will present their annual Great Falls Beefsteak. The folks from Giresi's catering are getting ready to put out a spread that can't be beat and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Hasbrouck Heights are ready to have everyone over for a great evening. So why is everyone so psyched? For one simple reason, we're doing it for a great little boy named Austin. Austin has Cerebral Palsy and is in need of a wheelchair lift to facilitate his entry and exit to his home. We hope you can come and help and have a good time doing it. So make sure you are there, you can get tickets by contacting your local Blue Knight or by calling us at (973) 908-8916. So here's a picture of your knights doing their thing, helping others and having a good time doing it. On December 17, 2009, the knights, joined by club friend Shari Ives from The Riding Center of New Jersey, headed out to the Children's Hospital at Saint Joseph's in Paterson with a mission. The mission was to deliver a check for money that the knight's raised for the hospital and some toys for the kids. Although the temperature outside verged on "cold enough to make a polar bear want a jacket", a couple of knights even rode to the check presentation. Special recognition goes out to our own Bobby Meurer, whose hard work and dedication to the cause made all this possible.

Well as 2009 comes to a close it takes with it not just another year but a decade as well. 2010 will usher in a whole new decade. Your Paterson Blue Knights welcome the new decade with open arms. The Paterson Blue Knights remain one of the premiere motorcycle clubs of the area, finishing out 2009 strong with resolve to carry that strength into 2010. Already we have many events planned for the next year, there will be the traditional events that we have come to be known by Comedy de Mayo, The Rockin' Chili Party, the Halloween Party and the Start of Season Party; but we will also see the revival of the Great Falls Beefsteak. We've got a lot of great causes we want to help and a lot of good times to be had as we do so. That said, take January off and rest up, because come February we're going to kick things off and if the trends continue things are only going to get better.
