Joe

Joseph M. Carroll Jr.

Joe was one of the first members of our chapter. He was also, sadly, the first to enter Heaven One. Joe attended St. Philips's Gramar School and Saddle Brook High School while participating in sports and scouting. Joe served with the Military in Southeast Asia in 1969 and 1970. He was appointed to the Saddle Brook Police department in 1971, promoted to Sgt. in 1981, Lt. in 1988 and Deputy Chief in 1991. He coached girl's t-ball and was an active Scout Master and Assistant in Boy Scouts. He was an advisor to the high school Interact Club and served on the township school board. Joe was quoted as saying: "Find a job you like, and you'll never have to work another day in your life."

You will be missed by all of your brothers in Chapter 17.
